Hi there, I'm Rholene, a silversmith from South Africa now living in New Zealand.  For the past 10 years I've been making and selling my jewellery either as a hobby or as my full time job.  My husband and I immigrated to New Zealand in 2019, where I've slowly been finding my feet again in the local arts community. 

I love using old school traditional silversmith tools and techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces, mostly inspired by the amazing and unique nature that surrounds me in this part of the country.

I currently have a very small one-man-band homebased studio situated in the beautiful Palmerston North, and offer weekly workshops at various locations in my community.  It's my absolute pleasure to share my knowledge and guide aspiring metalsmiths on their journey of discovering their own unique styles and talents.
